Assessment of sub-acute and chronic conditions

Assessing and treating conditions such as osteoarthritis, rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, repetitive strains, acute sport injuries, concussion, back pain, hip pain, and knee pain.

Ultrasound guided injections

Ultrasound-guided injections allow the practitioner to visualize the needle in real time and deliver medication to the precise intended site. This is a superior method to blind injections where the accuracy can be as low as 40%.

The precision of the ultrasound guided method leads to much better patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Corticosteroid (cortisone) injections

This type of injection delivers cortisone, a steroid medication, to the intended joint. Cortisone shots are very fast and effective at relieving pain and inflammation.

It is typically used in the treatment of osteoarthritis and bursitis.

Hyaluronic acid injections

Hyaluronic acid  is a natural substance found in the fluids of your joints. Its function is to lubricate and cushion the joints to keep them mobile and healthy.

Hyaluronic acid injections (or viscosupplementation) add to your body’s natural supply.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) Treatment

During this procedure, a sample of your own blood is drawn and concentrated to create a platelet-rich sample.

Platelets are a type of blood cell that function to stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area.

This sample is then injected into the problem area to promote a faster rate of healing and recovery.
