Yulia Biggar

 B.Sc. M.Sc. MPT

Yulia completed her undergraduate BSc in Health Sciences and MSc in Biology at Carleton University before going on to complete her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario. During her time at Carleton she worked as a personal trainer where she discovered her passion for movement and physical activity as a way to improve sports performance and improve the lives of the people she worked with.

One of her passions is pelvic floor physiotherapy where she works with prenatal and postpartum patients, patients experiencing incontinence, as well as patients with pelvic or low back pain.

Yulia enjoys an active life style including hiking (the four day hike to Machu Picchu was a particular highlight), running, skiing, weight lifting, and even hip hop dancing. Her treatment approach is based on her passion for coaching better movement for injury prevention.

Jenna Holdham

Clinic Manager. B.Sc., M.Sc. PT, CSCS

Jenna completed her Kinesiology degree at McGill University where she played varsity soccer and field hockey. During this time she developed an interest in sports performance and movement therapy, motivating her to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach.

She then went on to pursue a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. While overseas she was introduced to the world of Crossfit and now works as a Crossfit coach at a gym in Ottawa.

Movement based therapy is an important part of Jenna’s rehabilitation strategy. She hopes to work with young aspiring athletes and individuals looking to reduce their levels of pain and maintain or regain function in everyday life.

Paul Fortin

BPHE, M.Sc. PT

Having obtained a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree from Queen’s University, Paul decided to travel overseas to complete his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. While overseas, he gained additional experiences working with local soccer and rugby academies and discovered CrossFit.

His passion for rehabilitation, fitness and human performance began through the multiple sports he played growing up in Ottawa. Paul’s main sport of hockey gave him the opportunity to compete at the Junior A level and he has also given back and coached at the minor hockey level. Sports have developed Paul’s special interest in treating athletes and anyone looking to get the most out of their bodies while living pain free. He strives to help people enhance their movement quality, functional strength and mobility in order for them to achieve their goals and needs.

Kayley Walsh

M.Sc. PT, MHK

Kayley graduated from McGill University’s physiotherapy program, where she played varsity rugby. She then obtained a master’s degree at the University of Ottawa in human kinetics, specializing in mental performance consulting. Kayley believes that exercising both the body and the mind are keys to optimizing performance in sport and in life. Further complimenting her passion for sport and health, Kayley also coaches CrossFit.

As a physiotherapist, her goal is to encourage quality movement and to empower others to engage in daily activity, leading to improvements in function, performance and overall quality of life. Kayley also has experience treating various neurologic conditions, where she equally uses her movement and exercise-based approach.

Jon Pike

Jon completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Memorial University of Newfoundland followed by a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University.

Throughout his career Jon has continued his education by completing certifications in Functional Dry Needling, Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (Levels 1 & 2), Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement System Impairments, and Neuro-Proprioceptive Taping.

In his spare time Jon enjoys strength training, hockey, golf, and hiking. He is a strong believer in the therapeutic benefit of exercise and strives to provide a movement-based approach to rehabilitation. As a physiotherapist, his goal is to enhance movement, function, and physical well-being through a combination of manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and education on both injury management and prevention.

Daniel Longuepee

MScPT, BPHE

Dan graduated from the Master of Science in Physical Therapy program at Queen’s University in 2021. His previous education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Health and Education (Honours in Health Promotion) at Laurentian University. During his time at Laurentian, he worked closely with the varsity Cross Country and Track athletes for 3 years. Working with high-level athletes is what sparked his interest in pre-habilitation and the importance of reducing the risk of injury through training. He takes a similar approach with his patients and emphasizes an active approach to recovery which takes into consideration your current abilities, lifestyle, and most importantly your goals. He uses a combination of manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription in order to optimize outcomes. He believes that physical therapy helps people build the capacity and confidence to move better with individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and meaningful to you. In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time in the gym, cycling, canoeing, hiking, camping and pretty much anything outdoors
