Why a “blog”?

Hello folks

Welcome to our new site – we hope it’s easy to find the info you’re searching for. When deciding what to include in our site we came to the conclusion that having an area to post regular weekly content for our community of patients and followers was a good idea. Instagram is good for visuals but isn’t a great medium for posting longer and more informational content.

I literally googled “blog definition” and google told me the following:

– A regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.
With that in mind, Mike and I will make an effort to make at least one post per week and our goal is to keep things in a conversational style without using too much anatomy jargon or medical terms. I also realized the more I look at the word blog the weirder it gets.
The utility of the blog is to provide an outlet for Mike and I to post information related to all things health. Optimal health covers many different realms and our hope is to post useful content that our community will find informative and applicable in their lives. Everything from demystifying physical therapy, breaking down the squat to effective training, diet tips and sleep etc. We appreciate your interest and welcome feedback and questions about the information we post.
